Volunteers are an essential part of K9 Conservationists. By donating your time and skills, you help us advance wildlife research, train conservation detection dog teams, and share knowledge with the global conservation community.
Ways you can help.
Most of our opportunities are remote-friendly, and we welcome both one-time projects and ongoing commitments. Volunteers support us through:
Reading and summarizing scientific papers
Fundraising strategy and donor outreach
Web design and development
Copywriting and editing for blogs
Grantwriting support
Social media graphics, copy, and campaigns
Or other skills you’d like to share!
At this time, we don’t have volunteer opportunities for detection dog fieldwork. When shadowing or field opportunities open, we’ll share them on our opportunities page, in our newsletter, and on social media.
