Boat Inspections with a Wag

Our dogs are friendly, fast, and effective when searching boats at ports of entry or launch points. Our handlers are also knowledgeable in aquatic invasives and are happy to provide outreach to anglers and recreators.

Not only are K9 Conservationists efficient in boat searches, they are an excellent educational outreach opportunity to connect with the public. Dogs are able to find invasive mussels caught deep in jetski jets, boat motors, or other watercraft gear. Dogs are even able to detect low numbers of veligers!
